Goskino, 1925. Sergei Eisenstein's first feature, and the Stenberg brothers' poster for it became one of the most reproduced pieces of Constructivist design ever made: a factory wheel, a strip of film, and four faces staring straight out at you. The lettering reads Stachka, the Russian word for strike.

A landmark of twentieth century graphic design that happened to be an advertisement. For film students, design nerds, and anyone who likes a poster that still looks modern a hundred years on.
