Elena Sangro as Proserpina, queen of the underworld, from Guido Brignone's Maciste all'inferno, in which the strongman Maciste is dragged down to Hell and declines to behave. Bartolomeo Pagano had been playing Maciste since 1914, making him one of cinema's first recurring heroes.
This is a promotional card issued by Ed. A. Traldi of Milan, number 714 in its series, rather than a theatrical one sheet. The costume alone is worth the shirt.
