The turntable symbol is a spiral, or something like one. But, there are lots of ancient symbols like that. You know they've found spiral eye-looking glyphs in caves all over the world, and nobody knows why? And there are ancient civilizations in Europe that had three spiraled running legs as their symbol. I guess the human brain just likes spirals.
