Hal Roach presents, 1923. Harold Lloyd inches along a ledge somewhere above a Los Angeles street while a woman leans over the parapet to watch, and the whole city is drawn in behind him going about its day. The film ends with the clock face hang that everyone has seen even if they have never seen the picture.
Billed as a Pathecomedy and printed by Morgan Litho. Lloyd did the climbing with a hand that was missing a thumb and forefinger after a prop bomb went off in 1919, which is worth remembering while you look at the drop.
